Visitation will be Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a CCW Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the remembrance center. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Vincent Peter St. Aubin was born on July 4, 1937, in Lake Marshall Township to John and Elizabeth (Dandurand) St. Aubin. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Marshall High School. On October 15, 1958, he was united in marriage to Lilianna Lamote. Vince worked at a few jobs as a farmhand, doing construction and at the Russell Creamery, before going to work for The Schwan Food Company. Vince worked for Schwan's for 31 years and retired in 1999. In 1972, the family moved to a farm south of Marshall. Vince enjoyed time on the farm and all of the associated activities. He was creative and could fix most anything. Vince and Lilianna enjoyed spending time at Lake Amelia for the last 22 years. They enjoyed traveling, some bus tours and a few winters in Arizona. Vince had a great sense of humor and enjoyed social activities and especially time spent with family. He also enjoyed fishing and playing rolle bolle. After suffering with dementia for a time and a recent diagnosis with cancer, Vince died on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the Prairie Home Hospice Lockwood House in Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Lilianna, of Marshall, children Gary (and Wendy) St. Aubin of Marshall, Randy (and Geneal) St. Aubin of Apple Valley, Marcy Smith of Annandale, Daryl (and Vicki) St. Aubin of Marshall and Sue (and Scott) Briffett of Marshall; grandchildren Brandi, Melissa, Courtney, Nick, Eric, Dustin, Corey, Nikky, Christopher, Stephanie, Tori, Taylor, Derek, Jadyn and Shane; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Grace Vercruysse, Richard (and Margaret) St. Aubin, Lawrence (and Judy) St. Aubin, Dennis St. Aubin, Maxine (and Albert) Kerkaert, nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth St. Aubin, siblings Louis St. Aubin, Lorraine (Leonard) Gruhot, Bernard St. Aubin, Ronald (Pam) St. Aubin; son-in-law Ronald Smith, sisters-in-law Shirley and Alice St. Aubin, brother-in-law Paul Vercruysse and other in-laws and family members. Memorials preferred to Prairie Home Hospice and Community Care or Holy Redeemer School.
