Tessa Marie Bossuyt

The memorial service for Tessa Bossuyt, 37, of Clarkfield, MN, will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday, June 23, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. at the church and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at a later date.

Tessa Marie (Ihnen) Bossuyt was born on March 3, 1988, in Round Rock, TX, to Tadd and Teresa (Rupp) Ihnen. When she was two, her family moved back to Minnesota. Tessa graduated from Yellow Medicine East High School in Granite Falls. She worked as an LPN for many years at the Clarkfield Care Center while working towards her RN Degree with Minnesota West. She later worked as a Care Coordinator for Bluestone Physician Services and was a School Nurse at Lakeview Public School in Cottonwood. On June 30, 2012, she was united in marriage to Jared Bossuyt in Glenwood, MN. To this union were born children Grady and Greta. For the last 12 years, the couple has resided in Clarkfield.

Tessa lived a full life. Her favorite role was being a mother. She enjoyed traveling with Jared and friends, especially trips to the Black Hills. She also enjoyed attending country music concerts like Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bentley.

Tessa died unexpectedly at her residence in Clarkfield on Tuesday, June 18, 2025. She is survived by husband Jared and children Grady and Greta of Clarkfield; parents Tadd and Teresa Ihlen of Granite Falls, sister Trisha (Matt) Austin and children Henry and Alex of Granite Falls; in-laws Greg and Carol Bossuyt of Cottonwood, brother-in-law Parry (Ginny) Bossuyt and children Brett and Reese; brother-in-law Jory (Kylie) Bossuyt and children Olive and baby girl on the way, grandparents Chuck and Sandy Rupp, Glenice Ihnen, grandparents in-law Barb Crouse of Cottonwood, Lorraine Lanners of Marshall, many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jerry Ihnen and grandparents-in-law Leonard Bossuyt and Robert “Bob” Crouse.
