Visitation: 4:00PM to 8:00PM with a prayer service at 5:00PM Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Balaton. Service: 2:00PM Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial is in the Tracy Calvary Cemetery immediately following the luncheon. Suzanne Linaye Schreier was born December 22, 1962 to Cleo and Betty (Greenman) Schreier in Slayton, MN, Murray County. She was baptized in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie, MN, received her first communion in the Catholic Church in Phoenix, AZ and was confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy, MN. Suzanne grew up in Balaton, MN where she attended Balaton Public Schools, graduating from Balaton High School in 1981. As a young woman she moved to Marshall, MN and went to work for the Schwan’s Company. Until recently she had been employed with United Speedway in Marshall as a mover. She moved back to Balaton, MN when her health no longer allowed her to work. Suzanne was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. She enjoyed attending rodeo’s, traveling to Drag Racing events with her brother, Larry, and all animals, especially cats, of which she had several, but she really enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. On Sunday, January 13, 2008 Suzanne died at the Avera-Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall at the age of 45. Suzanne is survived by her parents, Cleo and Betty Schreier of Balaton, MN; two brothers, Larry Schreier Jr. of Lynd, MN and Randy (Connie) Schreier Jr. of Balaton, MN; three nieces, Sheila, Sarah and Katie Schreier; five nephews, Larry Jr., Shawn, Randy “Skip” (special friend, Jennifer Kronke), Chad (Nichole) and Jeremy Schreier; eight great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Her paternal and maternal grandparents preceded her in death.
