Uncle Clete and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I fondly remember Aunt Shirley from our childhood years. She was always so full of fun and laughter! Take comfort in your beautiful memories and knowing she had a grand Homecoming in Heaven. Meg and Denny Shields (Daughter of Jeanette and Virgil Hagemeyer)

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. I worked with Shirley for many years at human services and she was such a bright, shining light to all those she touched! She was there when I got married, when I had my babies, and was always providing me with wisdom and knowledge! She was truly one of kind and will be missed. May God wrap his loving arms around you and surround you with comfort and peace. Blessings - Shannon

Sincere sympathy on Shirleys passing. I well remember your parents when they lived in Emmetsburg, and you girls were in school. Keep your memories close to your hearts and she will always be near.

On behalf of my mother, Myrtle Buesgens, along with my wife Cathy, I just want to say how sorry we are to learn of the passing of Shirley. We were very fortunate to have been able to visit with her and Clete several times in recent years. May she rest in peace. Love, Greg (We are unable to attend her funeral on Saturday, as we will be bringing Myrtle to Fran Bigaouette's funeral in Belle Plaine. Fran was married to Myrtle's brother Ray)
