Scott Roger Buysse was born on July 13, 1993, in Marshall, to Roger and Kristi (Ramlo) Buysse. At ten months old, Scott endured a liver and small bowel surgery. The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha performed the procedure and took very good care of him. He survived all odds. Scott grew up on the family farm near Marshall. At age nine, he was awarded a Rainbow Play Gym from the Make a Wish Foundation. He graduated from Marshall High School in 2012. Scott studied Fluid Power at Minnesota West Community and Technical College Granite Falls Campus and Diesel Technology at the Minnesota West -Canby Campus. He also worked as a Technician at Wayneâs Tractor Repair in Marshall. Scott had a passion and was proud of his knowledge of the mechanical operations of equipment. Scott was a very hard worker and loved to be outdoors, working on the farm, hunting and fishing. He loved joking around and spending time with his friends and family. Scott was loved by all and a true friend to all who knew him.
Scott died on Thursday, November 10, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident in Brookings County, South Dakota. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Kristi Buysse of Marshall, brother Derek and sisters Sarah and Emily, all of Marshall, grandparents Manuel and Wanda Ramlo of Hendricks, Uncle Patrick Buysse of Marshall, Aunt Diane Feeney of Waseca, Aunt Bette (and Doug) Steffen of Canby, Uncle Dean (and Molly) Ramlo of Brookings, SD, Aunt Shirley Ramlo of Ashton, SD, Aunt Lois Jaragoske of Brookings, special friend Jessica Thooft of Marshall, many cousins, classmates and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Emil and Genevieve Buysse.
