Rebecca Ann (Schultz) Jacob was born on February 20, 1959, in Marshall, to Leopold and Elaine (Bump) Schultz. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1977. On May 27, 1978, she was united in marriage to Larry Jacob at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Becky worked at Schwan’s, Shopko and Gesme Printing. She loved her pets including her favorites, Sydney their Yorkshire Terrier and their cat Arthur. She was an avid walker and you could count on seeing her daily around town. Becky was most passionate about family, especially her nieces and nephews. They meant a lot to her and the feelings were mutual. She was a kind and generous aunt and never forgot to send gifts and cards for birthdays, holidays and special events. You could always count on a special surprise in her cards. She was also a very kind and doting daughter. She graciously tended to her mother, being one of her main care givers. Becky talked to her daily and Becky and Larry stopped over often, supplying her with books and crossword puzzles. Becky died unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Marshall. She is survived by her husband, Larry of Marshall and her mother, Elaine Schultz of Marshall. Also surviving are her siblings Marcia (and Larry) Sik of Marshall, Steve (and Barb) Schultz of Albany, David Schultz of Lynd, Mary (and Brad) Van Nevel of Moorhead, Michael (and Lynn) Schultz of Marshall, Julie (and Ted) Geary of Marshall and Joel (and Shannon) Schultz of Marshall. Other survivors include her mother and father in-law Lois and Bob Jacob of Spicer, sister-in-law Berta Jensen of Raymond, brother-in-law Jim (and Shannon) Jacob of Marshall, and sister-in-law Lisa (and Darin) Egenes of Kasota. Surviving nieces and nephews include Amie (and Jason), Steven, Natalie (and Doug), Matthew, Sarah (and Alex), Michael, Lucas (and Leah), Erin, Benjamin, Brandon, Catie, Adam, Nicholas, Rylee, Abbie and Satasha and her great nephew Brodyn, and great niece Charlotte, as well as many other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo, their infant daughter, brother-in-law John Jacob and niece Shelby Stevens. Becky will be missed by all of us.
