Ralph Harold Orren was born November 24th, 1937 in Rice Minnesota to James and Emma (Possail) Orren. He lost both of his parents before the age of 12 and was on his own at the age of 15. He attended school in Lynd.
On August 10th, 1963, Ralph was united in marriage to Judith Roberts in Marshall, Mn. They lived in Marshall, and in 2002 began spending their winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. They shared 53 years of marriage and had two children, Jeff and Jim. Ralphâs work ethic was second to none. He worked construction for many years before becoming employed with the City of Marshall in 1981. In addition to working at the City, Ralph also ran his own lawn care business. He retired with the City in 1999. Although officially retired, Ralph never really slowed down. He continued to stay busy doing lawn care until the week before his passing.
âRalphyâ loved fishing with his friends and playing horseshoes in Minnesota in the summer and Arizona in the winter. He enjoyed traveling to various casinos to play the poker machines. He also loved gardening all summer and spent much of his time tending to his 100+ tomato plants.
Ralph passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 8th, 2017 at his home at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 15 days.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Jeffery (Angie) Orren, and James (Ann) Orren; grandchildren: Austin (Lisa) and Jacob; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Emma and James; siblings: Clarissa, Howard, Harold, Abbie, Francis, and Lucy; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Emma.
