Mary passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at St. John’s Circle of Care in Springfield, Minnesota. Mary Clara Timmerman was born on March 1, 1923, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Henry and Clarice Lootens. In 1928 the family moved to a farm north of Minneota. On September 10, 1946, Mary was united in marriage to Andrew Timmerman at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota; they were married over 65 years. Andrew and Mary farmed and raised their family in Vallers Township near Green Valley. In later years, the couple wintered in Donna, Texas. Mary enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing cards, camping, fishing and sightseeing. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by her children and spouses: Denny (Shirley) Timmerman of Boyd; Grace (Dan) Coudron, Ron (Amy) Timmerman, Lois (Rich) Coudron, daughter-in-law Pat Timmerman, all of Marshall; and Kathy (Tim) Ricke of Minnetrista; 32 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Irene Verhelst of Canby and in-laws Angie Timmerman, Madeline Timmerman, Florence Soenen, and Marie and Bob Hamerlinck. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Andrew; son Gary Timmerman; grandsons Tim Coudron, Jesse Timmerman, and Jason Timmerman; parents Henry and Clarice Lootens; sister Alice VanHecke; and in-laws Maurice VanHecke, Lucian Verhelst, Leo Timmerman, Archie Timmerman, George and Bertha DeVlaeminck and Jerry Soenen. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations in Mary’s name to one of the following: KMHL Radio Rosary 2894 310th Street Marshall, MN 56258 or St. John’s Circle of Care Foundation – Memory Support 201 South County Road 5 Springfield, MN 56087 A public memorial mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
