Lincoln Scott Lessman was born on November 19, 2019, in Marshall to Alex and Deanna (DeVos) Lessman. Lincoln was “all boy,” and he loved everything to do with the farm. He especially loved tractors: riding tractors, helping with tractor chores, playing with tractor toys, and making tractor noises. He was a go-getter who was enthusiastic about everything he did. Lincoln was a big helper with the chickens and goats. He loved being outside, especially camping and swimming. He was constantly on the move, waking up early and going to bed early after a busy day. Lincoln was looking forward to going to school, and he was already practicing wrestling with his siblings. He enjoyed his snacks, especially pretzels, pickles, and Propel. Lincoln loved spending family days with his siblings Lucy and Logan and his cousins. He had a big love for his family and gave the best hugs.

Lincoln died on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center as the result of an accident at the farm. He is survived by his parents Alex and Deanna Lessman, older sister Lucy and twin brother Logan; grandparents Bruce Lessman, Carey (Pete) Doyscher, and Greg and Sheryl DeVos; uncle Derek (Angie) DeVos, cousins Olivia, Louie, Mary, Izzy, and Nola; uncle Devin (Elizabeth) DeVos, cousins Elaira and Eden; aunt Denaca (Grant) Moorse, cousin Melah; great-grandparents Richard Emch (friend Carol Grau) and Barb DeVos; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Lucille Emch, Leonard DeVos, John and Dorothy Tillemans, and Hank and Elaine Lessman; great-uncles Rick Emch, Joe Tillemans, and Tim Lessman; and great-aunt Nancy DeVos.
