Lawrence Peter Antony was born on November 10, 1928, at the family farm in Wergland Township, Yellow Medicine County to Nicholas and Gertrude (Braun) Antony. Lawrence lived in this home until retiring and moving to Marshall in 1991. On June 8, 1950, he was united in marriage to Bernice Kack in St. Leo. Bernice was the love of his life. He enjoyed family outings, in particular Sunday afternoon visits with friends and family. He liked playing cards, casino trips, and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Lawrence and Bernice wintered for many years first in Florida, and later in Arizona. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
