Karen Herrick

A memorial service commemorating the life of Karen Herrick, 64, of Watertown, SD, will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. No visitation prior to the service. Following the service we will gather at Independence Park to share memories.

Karen Christine Herrick passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2026. Karen was born on June 1, 1962, in Marshall, MN, to Raymond and Dolores Przymus. She attended high school in Marshall, and moved to Melrose, where she raised her three children. After her children were grown her life brought her in another direction and she moved to Watertown, SD. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with friends and her dog, Lucky.

Karen is survived by her children; Amanda (Shane) Deters, Stacey Willing, James Sieben and her 10 grandchildren; Clara Deters, Sawyer Deters, Scarlette Deters, Sylas Deters, Cordelia Deters, Harley Willing, Gage Willing, Easton Sieben, Boone Sieben and Gabriella Sieben, her siblings; Rick Buesing, Linda Przymus, Colleen (Larry) Nelson and Doug Przymus.

She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Delores Przymus and her sister Brenda Przymus.

Blessed be their memory and may her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
