Julie Kay Caron

A private, family gathering will take place for Julie Caron, 80, of Alexandria, formerly of Marshall.

Julie Kay (Halverson) Caron was born on May 15, 1943, in Austin, MN, and died on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Friendship Village of Bloomington, MN. Julie was passionate about learning.  She obtained her pilot’s license and continued to play the cello in the Southwest State Orchestra.  She loved to travel, enjoyed the theatre, was an avid reader and bridge player.  She adored her granddaughters.  She is survived by her daughter Carmon (Mark) Watkins of Alexandria, granddaughters Natalie (Joseph) Lindberg of Edina and Gretchen Watkins (Christian Anderson) of Alexandria.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Jennifer.
