John Jude Dalle, of Marshall, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by the family he loved. Born on July 11, 1960, in Tyler, Minnesota, John was a man whose presence was as steady and reliable as the tractors he loved.

John was the definition of "blue-collar strong." He was a lifelong farmer at heart, spending many years working with hogs and livestock with a passion for farming that never truly left him. Over the years, he brought that same legendary work ethic to his roles at Becker Iron & Metal, the ADM corn plant, and various farm operations. He had a mechanical mind and a fascination with anything that had a motor, and in later years, he even became the family’s resident enthusiast for new technology.

To know John was to know a man who "could talk the bark off a tree." He never met a stranger, and his kindness was as big as his heart. He was the first person to step up if someone needed a hand, and he found his greatest joy in a good conversation, the company of his animals, and above all, being with his family.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Julia Dalle, his children, Freddy (Becky) Dalle, Sovia Dalle, and Marcos (Megan) Dalle, and his many beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, including Cheryl (Kevin) DeJaeghere, Denise (Greg) Poskas, Gloria Poulos, ReGina Reynolds, and his brother Greg (Nova) Dalle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hellen Dalle, mother-in-law Margarita Garcia, his brothers, Gerard and David Dalle, his sisters, Mary Ann and Rita Dalle; and his beloved son, Eric, with whom he is now reunited.
