JoAnn Carol (Meyen) Fier was born on April 18, 1951, in Canby, MN, to Walter and Ardis (Anderson) Meyen. She grew up in Canby and graduated from Canby High School in 1969. On November 13, 1971, she was united in marriage to Joseph Fier at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Taunton. JoAnn worked at the bank in Canby for a short time before she began raising her family. She always had a Hersheyâs chocolate bar and a cup of coffee ready. She will be fondly remembered for her gentle, loving and caring personality.
