Jacquelyn Leigh Johnson was born on October 7, 1951, and lived a full and happy life. After a gradual decline in health, she passed away peacefully on February 4, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends. Jackie was born in San Francisco, CA. She lived in California and Minnesota and had lived the last 13 years happily in Colorado with her husband Dorance. Jackie loved traveling with her husband Dorance. They frequently visited Hawaii where they were married, went on several cruises, and she thoroughly enjoyed visiting many family members in Minnesota and California. Another one of her favorite things to do, was to go to the casinos with Dorance where she was often very lucky! She enjoyed classic rock music, keeping up with pop culture, and loved talking and keeping up with events with her friends and family. Jackie is survived by her husband Dorance and stepchildren Laura, Bryan, and Amber (and Mike,) three step grandchildren: Mehgan, Alex and Cecily, two great-grandchildren: Lilly and Scarlett. Also survived by nieces Amy (and Andrew) Askin and their children Alexander and Amelia, Lisa (and Michael) Cline and their children Avery and Colin, nephew William (and Casey) Sanders. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, and nieces and nephews from her husband Dorance’s family whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Patricia Cannady, sister Nancy Sanders and brother Mitchell Cannady.
