The funeral service for Jacquelyn “Jackie” Lovald, 81, of Tracy, will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Tracy United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will take place at Our Savior’s Lutheran Cemetery in Milroy, MN. 

Jackie passed through the gates of heaven on Friday, September 29, 2023, to what we are sure was a Hero’s welcome.

Jackie was a daughter of Astor and Helen Lovald.  She graduated from Wabasso Public School and was active in church, youth groups and 4-H.  She earned her Nursing Degree as a RN and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was sent to Vietnam and Thailand.  She was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.  Jackie returned to Minnesota and worked in Public Health and Community Health for Murray and Redwood County.  She was very active in church work by serving on committees and music groups.  She provided lay speaking and served her Lord in many ways.

Jackie is survived by one sister and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
