Francis "Franz" Cyril Breyfogle

Francis Cyril Breyfogle was born on August 8, 1924 in Meadow Township Plymouth County, IA to John and Rose (Bird) Breyfogle. Francis’ mother died when he was a child and the family moved to a farm near Canby. Francis went to country school in the Canby area. He owned and operated the Corner Café in Taunton, MN for many years. 

Francis died on July 3, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. 

He is survived by his sisters-in-law Clarissa, Marge, Martha; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Rose Breyfogle; brothers Peter, Delbert, Joseph, Phillip, Darrell, and James; sisters Evelyn, Clare, Verdean, and Mary.
