A gathering in remembrance of Francis "Franz" Cyril Breyfogle, 98 of Taunton, MN will be held at the Taunton Senior Center from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. on Saturday July 22nd. Cake and icecream will be served. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Francis Cyril Breyfogle was born on August 8, 1924 in Meadow Township Plymouth County, IA to John and Rose (Bird) Breyfogle. Francis’ mother died when he was a child and the family moved to a farm near Canby. Francis went to country school in the Canby area. He owned and operated the Corner Café in Taunton, MN for many years.

Francis died on July 3, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law Clarissa, Marge, Martha; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Rose Breyfogle; brothers Peter, Delbert, Joseph, Phillip, Darrell, and James; sisters Evelyn, Clare, Verdean, and Mary.
