Faye Angrimson

The funeral service commemorating the life of Faye Angrimson, 72, of Marshall, formerly of Taunton, will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Minneota. Visitation will continue on Saturday, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

Faye Ramona (Krause) Angrimson was born on March 20, 1953, in Echo, MN, to Everette and Hazel (Fossum) Krause. She grew up in rural Belview and graduated from Belview High School. She then attended the Willmar Vocational Technical School for Marketing Management. Faye also worked at a variety of jobs in the Willmar area. She and her husband, Whitey, owned and operated the West End Bar in Taunton for many years. She later worked as the City Clerk in Lynd for more than 20 years.

Faye was creative and enjoyed painting and flower gardening. She and Whitey enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, Mexico and other interesting places. She loved meeting new people and it seemed she always ran into a familiar face.. She also enjoyed following her grandsons’ sporting events.

Faye died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 27, 2025, following a heart procedure at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She is survived by her daughter Alissa Nelson (fiancé Oliver Salmeron) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, daughter Becky Esping of Minneota; grandchildren Jaxson Salmeron, Landon Esping and Logan Esping; step-children Angie Blumer of Alexandria (fiancé Joel Hanak and son Jonathan) and Stephanie (Jason) Andrews of Estherville, IA (Brittany, Blake), siblings Jerry Krause of the Twin Cities and Rick Krause of California, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Everette and Hazel, husband Whitey, and brother Kenny (and Peggy) Krause.
