Eh Eh

A funeral service honoring the life of Eh Eh, 45, of Marshall, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Sublo Karen Baptist Church in Marshall.

Eh was born on August 27, 1979, in Oldahhta, Thailand. She spent 20 years in a refugee camp. In 2006, she was married to Htoo Day Lay. The couple had five daughters. They moved to the United States in 2012; first to Missouri and, more recently, to Marshall.

Eh was a very kind person and a wonderful mother. She was very compassionate and cared for her father-in-law for many years.

She died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. Eh is survived by her husband, Day Htoo, five daughters, two brothers and two sisters and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
