Edna Mae Karna Miller was born in Skandia Township, Murray County, on February 5, 1928, to Olaf and Lillian (Edner) Hubbard. Edna was active with the Sillerud church—Sunday school teacher, WELCA, and quilting group. She was a leader of the Skandia Scouts 4-H club and a member of Skandia Homemakers Extension club. Edna and Harris traveled extensively in the U.S. and several foreign countries, including two trips to Sweden. They spent winters in Mesa, Arizona. I have spent many hours with Edna in bible study, women's events, and discussion. She was reserved and loving, earnest and sincere, honest and dedicated. The legacy that she left is evident in her daughters who are genuine and faith-filled.
Thanks be to God for a.life well lived. Rest in peace good and faithful servant.
