A celebration of life for Dylan Murphy Deutschlander, 20, of Marshall, MN will be held at Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall on Sunday, March 192023 from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. 
 
Dylan Murphy Deutschlander was born on December 19, 2002, to Donald Deutschlander and Michelle Murphy in Marshall, MN. Dylan grew up in Marshall, MN, attended Marshall Public Schools, and graduated with the class of 2021. Dylan loved climbing trees, riding his skateboard, and especially loved long walks at Camden State Park with his family. He was passionate about video games and maintained a YouTube channel under the title Gamergameboy. Some of his favorite foods included toaster strudels, chicken wings, pronto pups, and HOT SAUCE! Dylan was an avid State Fair attendee and made a point to attend every year. A bench is being dedicated in Dylan’s memory at the State Fair grounds. 
 

Dylan endured health challenges since he was two years old. Dylan died on March 5, 2023 at Crescent Cove pediatric hospice and respite facility surrounded by his family, friends, and dogs Brewster and Nellie. 

Dylan is survived by his father and step-mother Donald and Holly Deutschlander, siblings Evelyn, Hazel, and Henry, grandparents, Ed and Georgia Deutschlander and Larry and Gail Murphy, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. 

Dylan was preceded in death by his mother Michelle Murphy, partner of Adam Caughey; and his aunt, Renee (Deutschlander) Rosen.
