Donna Mae Gustafson

Donna Mae Gustafson, 86, of Marshall, Minnesota, formerly of Roseville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully July 7, 2025, at Avera Morningside Heights Nursing Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donna was born on March 29, 1939, in Remer, Minnesota, to Jerome Gothmann and Viola Gothmann (Godfrey). Donna worked for many years at Waldorf Corporation paper and packaging plant until retirement. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bingo, and watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings with her beloved dog Annie by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome (Virginia) Gothmann and Viola (Gilbert) Chatfield, son Jerry Kelley, sister Mary Olson, brother Dennis Gothmann, brothers-in-law Ben Slagle and Ted Carpenter, and niece Brenda Carpenter. Donna is survived by her son Brian (Jolene) Kelley, daughter Michelle (Tom) Giannelli, brothers Robert Gothmann and Steve (Carol) Gothmann, sisters Gail Carpenter and Diana Slagle, brother-in-law Gene Olson, grandchildren Jeremy (Mary) Kelley, Justin Kelley, Jamie (Brett) Spencer-Pullman, Steven Kelley, Samantha (Reese) Giannelli, Billy (Maddie) Giannelli, Nicholas Giannelli, and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Donna had a heart of gold, she never worried about herself and gave unconditionally. She will be deeply missed.
