Delores Betty (Vogl) Seifert was born October 12, 1930 in Three Lakes Township, Redwood County, Minnesota. Her parents were Frank and Anna (Heiling) Vogl. She attended grade school at district 92 and Junior High at St. Michael’s Catholic School in Morgan. She graduated from Morgan High School in 1948. After graduation she worked for the Citizens State Bank in Redwood Falls.
She married Harold John Seifert on September 5, 1950. They resided in Redwood Falls until 1964 when they moved to Minneota where Harold became the manager of the United Building Center lumberyard. She began working for the Minneota Bank in 1969 until retirement in January of 1993 and retired from PrimeLine director in December of 1997. She enjoyed banking, dancing, playing cards, spending winters in Texas, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, CCW, Lions Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic United Financial.
Delores died Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Minneota Manor Health Care System in Minneota.
She is survived by daughter Julie (Walt) Kautz of Slayton, son Jeffrey (Debra) of St. Cloud, and daughter Jane (David) Boniface of Wyoming, Minnesota; grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Kautz, Sarah (Chad) Baumgartner, Allison (Joe) Tetrault, Jesse (Danielle) Kuechle, David Boniface, Jr., Jordan Boniface, and Austin Boniface; nine great-grandchildren; siblings Alice Zaske of Buffalo and Tom (Carol) of Monticello; sister-in-laws Marilyn Vogl of Morgan and Marilyn Vogl of Morton. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers James, Donald, Frank and Jerry; sister Jeanette; brother-in-laws William Zaske, David Steffl, and William Steinke; and sister-in-laws Mary Ann Steffl and Fidelis Steinke.
