Charlene was born October 15, 1963 in Miller, SD to Clyde and Betty (Weise) Fanning. She was first married in 1978 and had 5 children. She was a stay at home mother for some time and during that time she earned her GED. She was hardworking and had several jobs throughout her years. She was a cook, manager, ice cream maker at Schwans, and one of her favorites was working for Primerica. She enjoyed helping others, spending time with her grandchildren, and journaling. Some of her best memories were of her Boundary Waters trip and her late night talks and road trips with her best friend Sue Skoblik. She later married Rich Davis and did some traveling. Her real passion was to help the needy and to find ways to incorporate god into her everyday life. She loved to collect angels and dragonfly’s were her favorite. Charlene is survived by her husband, Rich Davis of Marshall, MN; son, Josh Fawcett of Miller; daughters Jennifer(Larry) Mullinix and Cheryl (Kelly) Moore all from Dell Rapids, SD; Julie (Emmett) Willis and Crystal (Michael) Reuter all from Sioux Falls; grandchildren; Christina and Jaden Mullinix of Dell Rapids; Haley Moore of Dell Rapids; Tyler Cormany and Junior Willis of Sioux Falls; Shaun and Katelyn Reuter of Sioux Falls; Clyde and Maria Fawcett of Miller; father, Clyde Fanning of St. Lawrence; brothers, Joe(Vicky) Fanning and Chris (Leah) Fanning all of Miller; sisters, Jeanine (Mike) Hammil of Miller, Shirley(Kenny) Vlasman of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Betty Fanning; brother, Clyde Fanning Jr.; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents; and a nephew,Ethan Fanning. A Celebration of Life will be planned for Spring 2019.
