Bonnie Bernardy was born August 3, 1955 to William and LaVonne (Larson) VanMeveren in Tracy, Minnesota. She moved with her family to Nebraska where she attended school. She then moved to Texas for quite a few years before moving to Marshall, Minnesota and then Milroy. On July 17, 2007, Bonnie was united in marriage to Mark Bernardy in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. They made their home in Milroy. Bonnie was a very creative person, she enjoyed painting, making lawn art, sewing and cooking. She had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. The 4th of July was her favorite holiday. On Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Bonnie passed away at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 61. She is survived by her husband Mark of Milroy; siblings Dawn (Barry) Cramton of Renton, WA and Bill (Rose) VanMeveren of Puyallup, WA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
