When Bernice was not busy caring for her family she enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking her famous monster cookies, and many forms of crafts including knitting, crocheting and ceramics. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and playing cards with friends and family, and later in life she liked taking trips to casinos where she enjoyed playing slot machines. Lawrence and Bernice wintered first in Florida and later in Arizona, never leaving until after Christmas so she could celebrate the holidays with her cherished family. She was a gentle, kind and patient mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever she could. Antony family, I was sadden to read of Bernice's passing. I went to college with Deb in Granite Falls, Medical Secretary. Mothers are so loving and fun. I am sure Bernice will be truly missed so much. May God's comfort and condolences surround you and give you His peace. Diane Swift Gravley
